Some people are born with naturally full brows, however, most of us can use a little help from applying brow makeup. We are passionate about brows here at Amaterasu and want to share some tips on how to fill in your brows in a way that can make you look years younger!
One of our first recommendations is to fill in the arch with some brow makeup like our Liquid Brow Liner. The key is to look for a natural looking product. There are so many types out there: Brow Pencil, Brow Powder, Brow Wax and many more. Our customers love our Liquid Brow Liner because it goes on sheer for a very natural look and it lasts all day long, therefore you do not have worry about it fading off with light rain or snow as it is waterproof. It is even sweat-proof and paraben-free.
In addition, by applying brow makeup on the arch of your brow, you create the illusion of a lifted brow. That alone will instantaneously create a youthful and rejuvenated look. A product like our Shimmer Eye Pencil used on the brow bone under the arch will also create a radiant glow. This is a favourite trick that is used by top makeup artists around the world.
The next step is to fill in and lengthen the tail end of the brow. A good rule of thumb is to use your brow liner or a pencil, lay it on the corner of your nose and at the outer corner of the eye and hold at it at about a 45 degree angle. Your brow should extend out to that point. Not filling in the edge of the brow is a very common error. By just doing this step, you can easily take off years off your face, as brows really inject youthfulness in your everyday look.
Of course, regular brow grooming and maintenance is highly recommended. Visiting a reputable brow bar and having your brows tweezed or threaded every 1-2 months is a great way to maintain your beautiful arches.
