We all have different eye types, so why should we all use the same makeup? 

The web is filled with makeup tips, product recommendations, and tutorials. But one area that is woefully under-represented is makeup for Asian eyes or monolids (the type of eyelids that do not have a visible crease or hood). 

As an Asian woman, growing up in the Western world I wondered why my nose and face shape did not look like the models I saw in magazines. Although I personally was not born with monolid, I have many friends and clients with this type of eyelids. Many monolid girls are made to think they are not perfect as they are. This usually starts within their own family. It is a horrible message to plant in your own daughter/sister/cousin/niece’s mind, but it happens.
