There are always a few common questions we get about our Liquid Brow Liner, so Amaterasu’s founder Sara Au Yeong decided to share her tips on how you can better maintain yours.
Have you ever thought this: What’s happening to my brow liner if no product is coming out and it seems like it’s clogged?
You may not know this, but your brow liner is created with a microfibre brush tip. This type of tip is actually quite delicate when it comes to oils or debris, such as any foundation or powder that gets on your brows. Eventually, all that product will clog the brush tip.
One piece of advise that we recommend and share with many of our customers (which can also be found under the FAQ section of our website) is to run your brow liner under hot water for a few seconds.
Ideally, you should do this for about 5 seconds or less because you don’t want to wash off all the product.
After that, use a paper towel (not a Kleenex or tissue) and gently glide the tip along it to remove any lingering debris that may have clung to the microfibre. This will clear it and the product will flow much more nicely.
Another question we get regarding Liquid Brow Liner is about it becoming dry.
To avoid this, you have to make sure that the lid is securely closed. The formula of our brow liner is sensitive to air, similarly to a felt pen.
So, don’t leave it uncapped for too long and be sure that you can hear the lid click into place before you put your brow liner away.
