I am very excited to be sharing our latest photo shoot with you this week. As many of you know, we are all about empowering women at Amaterasu. I would like to share what these young women are doing to work towards their goals to offer them support and encouragement.

Most people think unless you are over a certain age, you just won’t have enough (or any!) life experiences or inspiring stories to share. I think that type of mindset can be very limiting. Age is definitely just a number and many girls and young women are making waves around the world. On this blog, we will introduce our models and in the following weeks to come, we will be featuring each of our models individually to dive a little deeper into their world.

INTRO:
Coco is the daughter of our very intuitive friend, energy healer Lily Chandra who you may remember recently interviewed me for Lily TV. Coco is currently attending fashion school in Paris and so happened to be in Vancouver for her summer break. A delight to have at this shoot!



Adila is from Xinjiang, a vast region of deserts and mountains located in North West China. It's home to many ethnic minority groups. The ancient Silk Road trade route linking China and the Middle East passed through Xinjiang. Adila is currently studying Fashion Merchandising at Blanche Macdonald.



Danielle is a full time college student and also a competitive figure skater. In addition to this, Danielle also coaches ice skating to little kids at Connaught Skating Club in Richmond. A very driven young women, we can’t wait to share more of her story with you.



Adriana is the daughter of Granola Girl CEO April Bellia. Her mother is Filipino and her father is from Malta. She attends school locally in Vancouver BC. Although she was the youngest model in this project, Adriana was both professional and warm just like her lovely mother.



We hope you have enjoyed this brief intro profiling these four wonderful and wise young women.
