What is Gyokuro green tea?
Gyokuro is a highly prized tea in Japan. Its production is very limited and the process to cultivate and harvest is extremely tedious. Gyokuro is shaded for 3 - 4 weeks prior to harvest, which results in its delicate and extremely smooth renown taste profile.
This step also increases the level of chlorophyll in the plants. In addition, it does increase the caffeine and theanine in the tea as well.
NOTE: you can steep this premium gyokuro up to 3 times. The perfect gift for any tea connoisseur or a treat for yourself.
