Most shimmer pencil are just too flashy and in my opinion are meant for on-stage performances. It took a while and when I finally found this shimmer pencil (through YouTube), I ordered one as the creator of the brand totally gets what real women wants = beautiful subtle shimmer.

I apply just a little in the inner corner of my eyes and under my brow bones and although it doesn't show up as vividly as most shimmer (thank, goodness), it ups my ante on my makeup game.

For one, my husband commented how I look more alert and was wondering if I got a new haircut. My elementary students says my eyes twinkle but they don't see large glitter. I am absolutely in love with this product.

I absolutely adore this shimmer highlighter. As I don't like super heavy or intense in your face makeup, this highlighter goes on naturally and does what it needs to do.

I use it underneath my brow bone (after I use the Liquid Brow Liner) and apply it on the of the cupid's bow like the video Sara shared here.

Definitely the quickest pick me up

I ordered this last week. Arrived quickly and being a makeup rookie, I watched several videos on how to apply. Sara is really good at teaching real life makeup technique unlike some other 'makeup gurus'. I followed along and it worked exactly as she said.

With having to wear a mask, I definitely love to play up my eyes and it gives it that twinkle and life especially when I am lack of sleep. Another great product from Amaterasu. Way to go!

I've tried so many highlighter in the market and really was turned off by the huge glitter or crazy high shine cosmetics company use. After all, I am looking for a daily subtle hint of shimmer, not stage makeup.

This shimmer pencil does exactly what I have been looking for. Something I can wear to work and doesn't look super obvious. I am not a teenager and am not going to a nightclub.

When I found this brand it was through a video tutorial. It didn't look complicated nor intimidating. This is pretty yet sophisticated and polished. Also, so easy to use.

I like brands that make products that are for real life and this brand sure delivers.
