FULL PRESS RELEASE HERE:
Unfortunately, Canada Post is the only shipping company that do not add a residential surcharge therefore we ship 99% of our orders with them.
We have also expressed concerns via a Small Business Organization called CFIB the cost of a trackable shipment via Canada Post. With our business particularly, each shipments are around 36-60 grams on average.
To give you an example. it costs us approx. $14-$16 to ship from Vancouver to AB/MB/SK and as high as $17-19 to Ontario if we offer tracking. This is why we use Small Packet with no tracking for non mascara orders as it is much more affordable. Imagine shipping an Eye Pencil and paying almost $20 to ship it out.
If you are ordering a mascara and have a business address we can ship to, we are more than happy to ship via Purolator or UPS. This will ensure your orders will arrived a bit faster than Canada Post especially during holiday season.
There will be inevitable delays in most orders and our ETA are simply that this holiday. Canada Post clerks are very clear that even trackable items are not guaranteed to arrive on time and that tracking links will not be active right away.
We thank you for your patience and support during this time and on our end, we roll out orders the same day or the next business days in the effort to shave off further delays.
Best wishes and Happy New Year!
